3D Car Test in Construct

I got excited when Scirra announced that they would officially support 3D models in their game engine. I've had a racing car game idea knocking around for years (literally) and I've made some 2d prototypes, but always saw the benefits of true 3d. So I made a simple car and character (trying to keep the triangle count down) with a single texture in Blender, and exported to glTF. Getting the car into Construct was fairly straightforward, and adding the car movment behaviour was trivial (as Construct has a plugin to do exactly that). Getting the animation state machine to run properly was less staightforward, but I go there in the end. I added a camera rotate control too.

Overall I think it works really well. I haven't progressed with the game any since I made this in the summer. Life and client work can get in the way of personal projects. I would say that it was a useful experiment, and has given me other ideas of 3d things to make in Construct, things that are simpler than a racing game.
